How to Upload Files to Your Data Source

Uploading files to your data source is a simple process that allows you to store and organize relevant documents for your project. Follow the steps below to learn how to upload files in various formats, including PDF, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, PNG, and JPEG.

Step 1: Access the "Files" Tab

To begin uploading files, open the "Files" tab in the Data Source section. This can be found by navigating to the Data Source section and clicking on the "Files" tab.

Step 2: Upload Your Files

Once you have accessed the "Files" tab, you can begin uploading your files. Simply click on the "Upload" button and select the file you wish to upload from your computer. You can upload multiple files at once by holding down the "Ctrl" key (or "Command" key for Mac users) while selecting the files.

Step 3: File Tagging

To help organize your files, you can add tags to each file. This allows for easy retrieval and categorization of your documents. To add a tag, simply click on the "Add Tag" button and enter the desired tag.

Step 4: Stakeholder Tracking

You can also track which stakeholder provided each file by adding their name or initials as a tag. This allows for better tracking and accountability within your project.

Step 5: Document Expiration

To keep your knowledge base current and relevant, you can set expiration dates for your documents. When a file reaches its expiration date, the system will automatically send you an email notification. To set an expiration date, simply click on the "Set Expiration Date" button and select the desired date from the calendar.

Congratulations! You now know how to upload files to your data source and utilize features such as file tagging, stakeholder tracking, and document expiration. If you have any further questions, please refer to our other help center articles or contact our support team for assistance.
